N. Hwy 191 Update
Latest update from UDOT & Lisa Church. I’m passing on City Communications and Engagement Manager Lisa Church’s latest email on UDOT’s work on the Highway 191 widening. Please see that below. Note that she points out in her December 4 email, “Of particular note for next week, access to Main Street from 400 North will be blocked Dec. 7-9 for paving in that area of Main. And access to Main Street from 500 West will be unavailable Dec. 9-11 for paving.”
Lisa’s Dec. 4 email:
Good morning all,
UDOT’s weekly update (https://madmimi.com/p/4a94a11?pact=122939-161104451-10500394083-47a481ad0b79c82b7ab467320ae1ed7f646a4651) indicates that crews are working to complete as much paving as possible on the Main Street Widening Project in the coming days while weather permits.
Of particular note for next week, access to Main Street from 400 North will be blocked Dec. 7-9 for paving in that area of Main. And access to Main Street from 500 West will be unavailable Dec. 9-11 for paving. Full details:
December 7-9 (Monday – Wednesday)
FULL CLOSURE OF 400 NORTH AT U.S. 191.
No access to 400 North from Main Street. Crews will be paving 400 North in this area. However, access to businesses located on 400 North between Main Street and 100 West will be maintained. Employees and patrons can get to these businesses if they access 400 North from 100 West.
December 9-11 (Wednesday – Friday)
PARTIAL CLOSURE OF 500 WEST INTERSECTION
Crews will be working in the eastbound lane (traffic approaching Main Street) to install new pavement. Consequently, about 300 feet of the eastbound lane will be closed near the intersection with Main Street. Traffic wanting to access Main Street (U.S. 191) from 500 West will need to take an alternate route.
As always, please let me know if there are ways I can be helpful.
